Free Your Mind: The Ultimate Escape Room - Scratch Coding
The Scratch Coding Project is a project that was based off creating a game or puzzle. The requirments we had to include: use numeric and string variables appropriately, with meaningful names, contain conditionals to simulate decisions or implement branching, implement repetition through both "repeat" and "forever" loop blocks, include documentation detailing its use, using key terminology from the glossary appropriately and as necessary, and be aesthetically pleasing, including proper grammar and lack of spelling errors. Overall we had to create a game or puzzle, including all requirments, that used coding and creative thinking to create a useful application.
Scratch CodingWhen we started the Scratch Coding project I was not very experienced in block coding. In the begining of the project I created a goal to become profecient in block coding. By the end of the project I completed my goal and felt confident in my block coding abilities. To play my Escape Maze coding game click the button above.

Electrical Circuit and Coding ComponentIn each escape room it was required to have an electrical circuit and coding component involved with the puzzles. Our components were combined to make a digital keypad. The digital keypad was programed to turn a light from red to green when the right number sequence was entered.
